Underpinning all that we do is our obligation to the health and safety of our employees and others who may be affected by our work activities.
The Connections Health and Safety Policy and Management system reflect our absolute commitment to this and we can justly proclaim a first class safety record.
We follow a planned and systematic approach to our duties to ensure that:
- we provide adequate resources to maintain a safe place of work, safe systems of work, safe equipment and a healthy and safe working environment
- hazards are identified and regular assessments of risks are undertaken
- information, instruction, training and supervision are provided as is necessary to ensure that employees and others are assured of a safe and healthy working environment
- awareness of health and safety and best practices are encouraged throughout our organisation
- we are taking the appropriate protective and preventative measures
- we have access to competent advice and are able to secure compliance with our statutory duties
In order to achieve our objectives, we have retained the consultancy support of Peninsula Business Services Ltd who provide our health and safety management system, carry out regular inspections and provide ongoing advice on health, safety and welfare issues.
